FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
Q - what exactly does "Sabatos" mean?
A - Sabatos is a play on words from the Spanish word Sabado or Saturday. As
a kid, I would watch bits and pieces of Telemundo on cable. I was always intrigued
by the show "Sabado Gigante" and came up with the play on the words to honor it
in a way. Anyway, the word is essentially meaningless as far as I know. (Of course,
in time Sabatos will stand for quality, service, and value!)
Q - How much do you charge for web site design?
A - That all depends on what needs to be done. Instead of charging a per page
or hourly rate, we make our offer based on solely what is needed to be done. That
way you know EXACTLY how much you will be investing before you sign an agreement!
Q - Why should I pay for a website? My friend/nephew/grandma is a computer whiz and could do
it for free!
A - All I can say is that you get what you pay for. With the advent of WYSIWYG,
(What You See Is What You Get) editors, anyone can build a website. However, not
everyone can do it well. You have ONE chance to make a first impression. Why not
make that impression a great one with proven design, functionality, and speed.
Q - Could you walk me through the process of getting a web site built?
A - Sure. We start things off with a few basic questions about the problems,
goals, vision, and budget for your company or group. You will receive a detailed
questionnaire, and a meeting is set up for a few days later. At the meeting the
detailed needs are discussed. A short time later a contract is drawn up and 50%
of the total cost is paid. Depending on the size and scope of the project, a number
of checkpoints and meetings are made to keep the project on track. When the site
is complete we go over each design goal and ensure the customer is completely
satisfied. Final payment is then rendered, and we hand the site over to the customer.
